Teaching Abroad jobs for non-native English speakers
Teaching jobs for non-native English speakers abroad are trickier to get hold of simply because countries usually prefer native English speakers. That does not mean that non-native speakers cannot teach abroad. There are many non-native English-speaking countries that rely on the English language heavily for education, commerce and recreation, that sometimes want non-native English language teachers because they understand the nuances of learning a foreign language better. Usually some of these countries require a four-year bachelor’s degree, but there are countries that only need a TEFL certified teacher. - Spain, Italy, Greece, Turkey are some of the countries that welcome international teachers.
- Dubai, Mexico, Abu Dhabi and Kuwait are great prospects for primary and middle school level teachers as well.
